The Outdoors Inc. Mighty Levee Gravel Ride

in partnership with the
Yazoo-Mississippi Delta Levee Board

The Mighty Levee Gravel Ride is a once a year chance
to cycle the champagne gravel of the Mississippi levee
on a fun ride for cyclists of all levels.

Route includes miles of levee riding and a Sag Station at the half-loop distance in historic Friars Point, MS,
featuring water, fruit, live blues music, and an irresistible photo op at the Robert Nighthawk Blues Trail Marker.

Come for the Gravel Event, stay for the music! Mighty Roots will be rocking Friday night and all Saturday. Party, camp, ride!

GRINDER DIVISONS:
Gravel Bikes, Cross Bikes or Mountain Bikes welcome
8:30am 4 laps (~52 miles)
8:35am 3 laps (~39 miles)
8:40am 2 laps (~26 miles)

THE FUN RIDE:
Gravel Bikes, Cross Bikes, Mountain Bikes,
Junkers and Cruisers welcome
10:00am 1 lap (~13 miles, 90-minutes)

On-site cold water shower provided for
post-race, pre-fest rinse!

All-ages, All-abilities bike ride on top of the Mississippi River Levee, America’s “Great Wall”

Helmets are required.

The 13-mile loop track starts and ends at the Mighty Roots Music Festival site in Stovall, MS.

Riders pass the Robert Nighthawk Blues Trail marker and two historic markers
in Friars Point, the original county seat of Coahoma County, MS

Riders will encounter some unique levee features including
cattle gaps, actual cows, and the stuff cows inevitably leave behind.

Riders will likely see wildlife including deer, turkeys, eagles, egrets, and other levee denizens,

Registration is $50 for the Grinder categories, which includes a 20% discount on a fest ticket.

Registration is $25 for the Fun Ride.

All Registrations include a cool t-shirt.
